1st of the 23 Things - The Blog!
If metadata is information about information, then I'm guessing that metablogging would be blogging about blogging. Here is my first of the 23 Things; getting myself out there on the web with a blog to chart my progress with the "Things".
All in all the process was pretty straightforward, the only issue I had was when I tried to get a little too clever and embed a YouTube video that I thought would be a bit of fun. I tried to insert the video but it just kept giving me an error message. If anyone has a suggestion as to how I could do this in future posts, I'd be most grateful.

Welcome! I agree regarding your definition of metablogging.
Not sure what steps you took to get the youtube vid in, but click on the html tab of your blog post, position your cursor where you want it to go and paste in the embed code you got off the youtube site. Hope this helps!
Thank you 'Victoria University Library', I took your advice and successfully embedded a YouTube video into the html of a post. I had seen that there was an option to attach images and videos - there is a little icon above the post composition box - I was trying to cut and paste the 'embed' from Youtube into that and it was just giving me an error message. I hadn't twigged that the 'embed' was a string of html coding and the attach option was looking for a web or file address, but I've got it now.
